Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web server

Resolution:
1. Open IE and go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local Intranet -> Custom Level -> User Authentication
check 'Automatic logon with current User & password
2. Go to virtual directory of project and select appropriate ASPNET version.
3. Right click to Project under solution explorer and go to properties, select Configuration settings and go to 'Dubugging' and select 'Enable ASP.NET Debugging' as TRUE

ActiveX control 'xxx' cannot be instantiated because the current thread is not in a single-threaded apartment.

Please use appropriate attribute:

Would like to know when was last backed up Database?

ILMerge : Merge multiple .NET assemblies into a single .NET assembly

There is need of merging multiple assemblies into the single assembly. Micorosoft have ILMerge which supports for .NET assemblies.

ILMerge need set of assemblies as a input to merge them into a single assembly.

The first assembly in the list of input assemblies is the primary assembly. When the primary assembly is an executable, then the target assembly is created as an executable with the same entry point as the primary assembly. Also, if the primary assembly has a strong name, and a .snk file is provided, then the target assembly is re-signed with the specified key so that it also has a strong name.

ILMerge is packaged as a console application. But all of its functionality is also available programmatically. Note that Visual Studio 2005 does allow one to add an executable as a reference, so you can write a C# client that uses ILMerge as a library.

ILMerge runs in the v2.0 .NET Runtime, but it is also able to merge v1 or v1.1 assemblies. However it can merge PDB files only for v2 assemblies.
